Coaching @GALP
Partnership in the design and implementation of a Coaching Program for the organization's leaders.
Learning in order to Grow
GALP's expectations for this program were not only to provide its leaders with a means of personal/social and professional learning, focused and adapted to the needs, strengths and aspirations of each one, but also to stimulate individual potential, generating positive consequences in the business results.
One step at a time
Considering that the main objective of the challenge proposed to Way Beyond was based on promoting the strengthening of leadership and supporting the development of new leaders, we designed a personalized coaching program, aligned with the specific needs of its participants and with GALP's strategy, culture and values.
The design of this Program materialized in 4 Moments:
Knowledge Phase
Launch / Framework
Individual Coaching Processes Realization
Follow-up
"...if we already had no doubts, now we are absolutely sure that you are the partner for coaching at GALP."
- Feedback received in which a great happiness was expressed concerning the fact that they were able to successfully bring coaching into the company.
We kept ourselves attentive, paying attention to the feedback we were getting, and we went on learning as the program proceeded. At a late stage, an important question came up:
"How do we keep high levels of freedom along the processes, ensuring confidentiality and helping to continue raising the sense of responsibility?"
Together with GALP, we went in search of the answer. We went back to the drawing board and invented a methodology that allows us to evaluate the impact of individual coaching processes , beyond the personal satisfaction of the participants. This way, we get to know the impact, the development and the personal learning achievements as well as how these influence the teams and the organization.
Together we create more

Slow down, we're in a hurry.
From Way Beyond, we feel that GALP, through its People Management, seriously bet on this Program and saw in us a partner that, besides the delivery ( coaching sessions), offered support in the promotion and management of this Program, which implied a great alignment of the Project Team, the coaches and the People Management of GALP.
"We live in a world of constant and accelerated change, which requires us to ensure the existence of development and learning processes that are truly transformational, both at the individual and collective level, as well as new ways of working that are increasingly collaborative.
At GALP, we aim to work on the skills that make us more human, as well as explore the self-knowledge and awareness of our people, because they are the engine of transformation and they are the ones who have to take the lead with a growth mentality.
We must also prepare our leadership to take responsibility in unknown contexts. The challenges are not small and alone we will not be able to continue our journey.
For all these reasons, we have found in Way Beyond a partner of excellence (and not just a service provider). A partner that understands and accompanies us, that creates with us, that adapts to us and stimulates us to reflect and to always reach further.
An example are the executive coaching programs, the team coaching programs and specific programs with various natural teams and company departments.
The results of the evaluations carried out and the testimonies we have been receiving prove the real impact of these interventions, characterized by the customization of approaches to each situation, the constant involvement of Way Beyond and the guarantee of continuity of the processes and of the monitoring of the participants.
Tomorrow we will be here to continue this partnership."
