We believe, for over 20 years, that training people is not about formatting people.
Much more than a school.
We are dedicated to looking beyond Skills, we help develop Qualities. It is not enough to do or to seem. To truly learn, you have to be. Only then does learning become sustained and sustainable.
The programs we create are a combination of our clients' challenges and our team's wishes.
At our school we draw on the experience of decades, leverage the curiosity that drives us to research, and rigorously test the rationale for our ideas and practices.
We go far beyond training. Learning, for us, is not just about accumulating information. It is about questioning what we think we know, not because it is "right" or "wrong," but in order to understand if we can be wiser.
Way Beyond was born from a school. It is the space that enriches our interventions, our work and our people. Through research and experimentation, we bring our learnings to those who choose to partner with us. On the other hand, our experience in the field feeds the practical, real and meaningful examples for the programs that we decide to open to the public.
That is why we like to call the school our laboratory - the place where we experiment with putting our learning into practice and where these experiences take shape to be presented and developed with our partners. It is the place of the intimate relationship between theory and practice, where the dynamics are born from readings, conversations, and observation, and also where reflection on the dynamics put into practice feeds the continuous construction of knowledge and wisdom.
Why and what for we propose a school?

The plan
We were challenged to think of ways to make our programs more accessible to those who really want to do them, but for whom the investment is high. We said yes! Allied to this challenge, our will to strengthen the relationship with our partners and also with the community, contributing to the development and benefit of all, including unemployed people (and other situations to be evaluated), led us to create a set of conditions to take a first step towards our social and corporate responsibility and sustainability. Thus, we created Way Beyond Social Care, a plan that aims to include those who are interested and willing to do our programs, ensuring access to education and lifelong learning opportunities and, at the same time, contributing to Way Beyond's sustainability. Way Beyond Social Care includes, for now, two participations in our Way Beyond Coaching Class program (Introductory Level and Advanced Level).
For whom it is intended
People with interest and willingness to do our programs and for whom, for one reason or another, the investment is high. For example, people who are unemployed (or other precarious situations to be assessed).
Conditions
Payment of 50% of the total cost of the program (Introductory and Advanced Levels);
After the end of the Program, the student will return this care with approximately 30 hours of work, preferably as a coach, within the activities developed by Way Beyond. The returned hours may be considered for the package of paid coaching hours required to apply in order to become a certified coach by the International Coaching Federation.
Application requirements
The interested person must register simultaneously for the Introductory Level and for the Advanced Level;
Two people per year will be eligible for these conditions;
Two people from the Way Beyond team will conduct the selection interviews.
Students will be informed of the team's decision in good time.
