Two lives in one.

 

The expectations of the organization for this process were always clear and pointed towards the development of leadership skills, namely the capacity to involve the team by means of changes in the dynamics of interpersonal relationships. For the client herself, in addition to the results expected by the organization, there was also a desire to work on the balance between "personal life" and "professional life".

 
 
 

From general to specific.

To create a learning context, through an individual coaching process, in which the desired improvements could be validated, challenged and innovative and sustainable solutions rehearsed. In essence, to give support in changing perspectives and behaviors, therefore allowing personal and professional evolution.

 
 

8 conversations, 8 months

We designed an individual coaching process, of 8 sessions, which took place over a period of 8 months. The design included, and was carried out, 2 tripartite sessions, in which the client's direct manager was present. These sessions served to share feedback from both sides, to promote and ensure alignment of the designed objectives and to transform expectations into requests, offers and commitments.

As the process progressed, it became clear to the client that the expectations of the organization, her hierarchy, and her own objectives for the process were linked. By exploring this linkage, significant learning and change took place.

Besides the personal dimension, there was a curious fact not considered in the metrics defined to assess the impact of this process: there was an improvement in the results of the employee satisfaction survey, conducted after the end of the coaching process. One of the points that stood out the most was the management's impact evaluation, which, in this specific case, referred directly to our client.

The relationship with this client of ours has been maintained, and to date, 3 more individual cases have been carried out for 3 other team members in Portugal.
