Business & Strategy
He considers himself a learner and explorer, motivated by growth in various areas and by helping others to grow as well. In his adolescence, he was a musician, and his family knew he was arriving because they heard him singing on the stairs, enjoying the acoustics.
He graduated in Economics, but during the course he realized that he wanted to be a manager. With the course completed, he went abroad to work in brand management and lived in 5 different countries. He stopped being purely Portuguese and incorporated habits, routines and values from other cultures. When he returned to Portugal after 13 years abroad, he ventured into the commercial area to continue increasing his skills. However, more and more, what motivated him were the people and multifunctional teams he managed, and less and less the market shares and other numbers.
In 2017, he completed the coaching course at the European Coaching School (ECC) and became a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). He later began a second academic adventure, teaching at universities and conducting research for his doctorate in applied management.
His favorite question is: “What is the objective: what do we want to achieve?”. He currently cherishes time with his family and tries to be a catalyst for lasting positive memories in his two daughters while they are young. He continues to teach, is an executive coach at Way Beyond, and also has a marketing consulting company called Estupha. In his spare time, he is passionate about skiing, motorcycles, sailboats, and books.
Hoping to be an explorer until the end of life.
